Open the app and add your job (just a name gets you going).
Tap + to log a shift: cash, card, tip-out, and hours.
See your take-home and real hourly rate on Today, and trends on Summary.

FAQ

How is tip-out calculated?

Set a rule once per job in Settings → tap the job → Tip-out. Choose a flat amount per shift or a percentage of sales. When you log a shift the tip-out fills in automatically (for % jobs, enter your sales and it updates). You can always type over it for a one-off.

What's my "real hourly pay"?

Take-home ÷ hours, where take-home = cash + card tips − tip-out + (hours × wage). It's what you actually made per hour that shift.

Can I edit or delete a shift?

Yes — tap any shift to edit it, or swipe left to delete. The edit screen also has a Delete button.

Can I track more than one job?

The first job is free. Unlimited jobs are part of Tip Tracker Pro.

How do I get my data out?

Export a CSV (free) or a tax-ready PDF (Pro) from the share button on Today or Shifts, then send it wherever you like.

Is my data backed up?

Your data is on your device. Turn on iCloud backup & sync (Tip Tracker Pro) to keep it safe and synced across your devices. Without it, use CSV/PDF export as your backup.

I paid before / got a new phone — how do I restore?

Settings → Restore purchase. Purchases restore free on any device signed into your Apple ID.

Does it calculate my taxes?

No. Tip Tracker keeps an accurate record of what you earned and reported; it doesn't calculate tax or give tax advice.
